We're not a faceless gym whereby you swipe a card and enter a soulless, sterile enviroment. We consider ourselves at the heart of the community. Our staff have got to know the local businesses, local residents and everyone in between over the course of decades. We enjoy getting to know our customers. We spend time with you to find out what you really want to achieve.
We want to support you. Not lecture you. We offer a diverse range of equipment and physical support from our fully qualified and experienced staff. We appreciate half the battle is motivating yourself to get to the gym in the first place. Once you have then we'll give you a helping hand to make sure you can make the most of us. Our personal training sessions cost £20 per hour.

A little bit about me...

I'm one of the founders of Formula One and have watched the gym develop and evolve over the years. I enjoy chatting and helping members achieve their goals. I love to get to know our clients and like to think at Formula One we provide a relaxed environment for all levels of ability to train.

A little bit about me...

I am passionate about fitness and run competitively. I’ve worked in the health and fitness sector since 2000 and bring a wealth of experience from previously practising as a doctor. My areas of interest include: endurance training, injury prevention/rehabilitation, weight management, strength and conditioning, and, enhancing mental and physical wellbeing. Training packages include: 1 to 1 goal specific sessions, training programs, dietary/ lifestyle advice and regular reviews of progress. I am a fully qualified personal trainer and competitive body builder with years of experience in the health and fitness industry. My vision is to deliver quality personal training services in Nottingham that ensure my clients achieve their fitness goals and gain the confidence that comes with this. I'm a competitive body builder, my knowledge of various training techniques is second to none and my own achievements as well as my clients’ testimonials are a testament to this. Some of the titles include: 2012 BNBF Midlands Championships – 1st place novice class and overall winner 2013 UKBFF East of England Championships – 1st place in inters under 90kg class 2013 UKBFF British Finals – 3rd place in inters under 90kg class

I am a fully qualified personal trainer with many years experience. My areas of interest are strength/conditioning training, weight loss/ improving physical fitness. My area of expertise is kickboxing, boxing and K1, having been the Midlands kickboxing champion. I'm always available to give advice or book a session on the pads to have a fun fitness and skill workout.
