About Formula One Gym

We're not a commercial faceless gym whereby you swipe a card and enter a soulless, sterile environment. We consider ourselves at the heart of the community. Our staff have got to know the local businesses, local residents and everyone in between over the course of decades. We enjoy getting to know our members.

We spend time with you to find out what you really want to achieve.

We want to support you, not lecture you. We offer a diverse range of equipment and physical support from our fully qualified and experienced staff. We appreciate half the battle is motivating yourself to get to the gym in the first place. Once you have then we'll give you a helping hand to make sure you can make the most of us.

I've been weight training for 7 years and this is by far my favourite gym. It's always tidy, well maintained and the staff are helpful & friendly. Everyone cares about the equipment and there is a great atmosphere while working out. I highly recommend going.

I've been coming to this gym for 10 years now and haven't ever found an better gym. The staff are caring, respectful, warm, professional and responsive. I love that there's a mixed gym as well as a women's-only gym. There's a great community spirit where members support one another, and the weights aren't just dropped/thrown everywhere as in so many other gyms. Thanks again Formula One.

Nice atmosphere, plenty of equipment and doesn't get as busy as other gyms so I can do the exercises from my routine. Going to the gym isn’t just the equipment for me, it’s a good environment and Formula one has that. I’ve tried the gym, pure gym and a couple other but I always end up going back here
